Trainer Support


While our learning activities are designed for self-paced exploration, your trainer is always available to guide and support you. You’ll also receive a schedule with deadlines for submitting assessment tasks to keep your learning on track. Participation in weekly online webinars is compulsory. These structured sessions provide valuable insights and support, specifically designed to help you complete your assessment tasks.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an Assessment-Only Pathway, where your existing skills and industry knowledge are evaluated against competency standards. This pathway requires you to provide evidence of your abilities through documents, photos, reports, and other authentic materials.

Things to Consider:

  • Evidence Is Key: RPL assessments are based on the quality and relevance of evidence provided, not on assumptions or opinions.
  • Not Always the Easiest Option: Gathering evidence can be rigorous, as you must demonstrate that you meet all the criteria for each unit of competency.

Who Should Consider RPL?

RPL is ideal for individuals who:

  • Have substantial experience working in the pool and spa industry.
  • Can provide verifiable evidence of their skills and knowledge, such as:
    • Business documents
    • Photographs of completed projects
    • Reports and quotations
    • WHS (Work Health and Safety) systems
    • Customer service processes
